Bonding

Bonding is a procedure that uses the high bond strength between the bonding agent and the photopolymer material, which connects them to the tooth surface.

This manipulation involves healthy teeth, with shortcomings in shape and color. Typically, removal of the tooth structure is not necessary, it is enough to finish with a weak abrasive, for a greater surface area of ​​the agent, demineralize tooth surface with acid , bonding and  applicate restoration material.

Between last two steps there is curing with photopolymer light. The role of the acid is to achieve greater surface, which will make the bond between the tooth and material stronger.

After the completed tooth restoration is finished, we are polishing it. The advantage of that method, is its painless and non-invasive essence, leading to the high color variety, because of the modern photopolymers.
